Rolling Mill Guide
The guide refers to the device installed before and after the roll pass in the process of section steel rolling to help the rolled piece enter and exit the roll pass accurately and stably according to the established direction and state.
We supply of below type:
High speed wire rod mill guide
Rebar guide
Sliding guide
Twisting guide
Slitting guide
Section steel guide
Rail beam guide
Advantages:
1. Iron oxide scale can be removed
2. It can make the surface of the rolled piece smoother
3. It can increase the surface strength of rolled parts
4. Make the steel rolling process safer and more stable
Generally speaking, the guides are divided into rolling guides and sliding guides. The rolling guides are more stable and the distance between the guide rollers can be adjusted easily, but the cost is higher, while the sliding guides cost less, but have no stability. The rolling guide is good and difficult to adjust.
The role of guide and guard in wire production
(1) Correctly lead the rolled piece into the roll pass;
(2) Ensure the stable deformation of the rolled piece in the pass, and obtain the required geometric shape and size;
(3) Smoothly lead the rolled piece out of the pass to prevent rolling around.
(4) Control or force the rolling piece to twist or bend and move in a certain direction.
(5) For rolling section steel of any cross-sectional shape, guides and guards must be used at the entrance and exit of almost all rolls. Its function is to enable the rolling piece to enter and exit the pass according to the required state, and to ensure that the rolling piece is rolled according to the set deformation conditions. Although the pass design is reasonable, if the guide and guard device is designed or used improperly, it will not be able to roll qualified products, and may cause scraping, squeezing of steel, rolling rolls, and even roll breakage or serious equipment accidents and personal accidents.
