The grate bar is the main component on the carriage body of the sintering machine, and its main function is to form a trough-shaped space with the rail of the carriage body of the sintering machine to accommodate and carry mineral materials.

The advent of high-chromium heat-resistant cast iron grate bars solves the problem of short service life of gray cast iron grate bars and reduces the production rate of sintering machines and the production cost of sintering ore.

Working environment and function of sintering grate bar:
  1. The temperature change is quite large: the temperature of the grate bars during sintering usually reaches 800ºC-1000ºC, and the highest is 1100ºC. After unloading, the cooling temperature in the air quickly drops to 100ºC-300ºC.
